Asia Aluminum Group, one of China’s leading aluminum profile manufacturers, has officially signed a comprehensive framework agreement with ALUPCO, Saudi Arabia’s premier aluminum extrusion company. This strategic partnership includes AAG subsidiaries AluHouse and MacMetal, aiming to invest USD $500 million to establish the largest integrated aluminum processing industrial base in Saudi Arabia.

The joint venture will span three new companies focused on:
Aluminum profile manufacturing
Modular integrated construction ( hashtag#MiC )
Solar panel frame production
With the aluminum demand in the Middle East and North Africa ( hashtag#MENA ) region rapidly increasing, this partnership will leverage AAG’s manufacturing expertise and ALUPCO’s local market presence to accelerate sustainable industrial growth.
This initiative supports both China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, promoting green technologies, industrial diversification, and regional connectivity.
🌍 Industrial Hub in Riyadh – 150 Hectares of Innovation
The new base, located in Riyadh, will cover 1.5 million square meters (150 hectares) and is expected to create over 1,800 local jobs. It will include world-class manufacturing facilities, each the largest of its kind in the MENA region:
Aluminum Profiles:
Annual capacity of 200,000 metric tons, making it the region’s largest aluminum extrusion site.
Solar Panel Frames:
Up to 30 million units annually, supporting ~25GW of new solar projects.
Modular Construction (MiC):
Capacity to produce 30,000 housing modules annually, driving sustainable urban development.
